About Us

Eric has served as the CEO of Quicken Inc since 2016. He has been part of the Quicken business since its early days – he joined Intuit, Quicken’s previous owner, as employee #4 in 1986, when Quicken was the only Intuit software product. Over the course of his 20 years at Intuit Eric served as the CFO through the 1993 IPO and merger with ChipSoft (TurboTax); while he was CFO, he was also a software developer who worked on almost all of the early versions of Quicken; he was the first VP/general manager of the Quicken business; he was Intuit’s first CTO; and then led Intuit’s payments business during an additional tour of duty at Intuit in 2010-2016. Between his two stints at Intuit, Eric pursued a second career in technology investing, first as an angel investor and then as a General Partner at Cardinal Venture Capital. Eric has served on the boards of directors of dozens of companies and organizations, including six public companies.

Eric is married and has two children, both recently graduated from college and employed. In his free time, Eric plays tennis and squash and is a piano student. He is also a helicopter pilot and flies a Robinson R66.

Tim brings more than 25 years of software technology experience to Quicken. Tim started his career at Intuit as one of the original engineers of Quicken for Windows in 1991 and served at Intuit for 10 years in a variety of roles including Chief Architect of consumer finance, and Director of Product Management/Business Development for small business. Tim went on to serve in a variety of executive leadership roles including CTO HotJobs.com, VP/GM Yahoo! Inc, General Manager of the PayPal Platform and Developer Network, CTO Ustream.TV, CTO Kabam Inc., and CTO Ask.com.

In his spare time, Tim loves to code, and code some more... and also loves spending time with his family, including playing guitar while his youngest son plays drums. Tim is a sound engineer on the side, has mixed 2 CDs (working on a 3rd for a local band) and does live sound production as well for his church. He also makes amazing chocolate chip cookies.

Gary joined the Quicken team on Day 1 following the spin-off from Intuit. Originally hired as the Corporate Controller, Gary was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Gary is a CPA with a broad range of finance leadership roles over his 30-year career. Other software industry experience includes Bill.com, where Gary was VP Finance, NetSuite and PayCycle. Gary started his career as an auditor at Price Waterhouse and later spent a decade in the toy and video game industry, primarily with Sony in the PlayStation division.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UC Berkeley. Outside of work he likes to spend time with his wife and two teenage boys. His favorite activities include running, golfing, and managing his personal finances with Quicken. The family enjoys traveling and spent two years living in Argentina.

Euan has over 20 years of marketing experience in financial services and digital products with a proven track record of driving growth. Euan has worked internationally with Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC Bank. More recently Euan was CMO at Jackson Hewitt.

When not working you will normally find Euan cooking, given his passion for food. He is also an avid cyclist, skier, and kayaker.

Pehr joined the Quicken team in 2012. He is an experienced FinTech and financial services leader with a track record of running large Sales, Marketing and Operations organizations. He has worked in the US and Europe and has achieved success in well-established companies such as Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab, General Electric, Ernst & Young, and Intuit.

In addition to helping lead great companies, Pehr likes spending time with his wife and their 3 children and enjoys staying physically active – hiking, running, and golfing.

Jeff has worked on the Quicken product suite since 2008. He was a Design Strategist at Intuit and led design teams working on Quicken and Mint during his tenure there. Before coming west to work on Quicken, Jeff was a VP in the Interactive Design group of the New York offices of Hill Holliday, a marketing communications firm.

When not in the office, Jeff used to travel around the world with his wife, but these days spends the majority of his free time entertaining his two kids in and around the Bay Area.

Tiffany joined the Quicken team in 2016 to lead the Human Resource department and assist with the transition from Intuit. She has more than 20 years of Human Resources experience spanning several different industries, including FinTech (Visa) and internet services (iPass). She joined Quicken because she has a strong interest in personal financial management and the value that Quicken brings to its customers and the value the company places on its employees.

When she's not helping make Quicken a great place to work, she enjoys spending time at her family lake house with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. She is an avid fan of Bay Area sports teams, enjoys wakeboarding, waterskiing, and watching any sport her kids are playing.

Kristen is a marketing and product leader with 20+ years of experience. After a successful career at Intuit working on core brands such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, and QuickBooks Payments, Kristen joined Quicken to explore the cutting edge of fintech with cloud-based, ML/AI-driven solutions.  

When she isn’t creating and executing the next product vision for Quicken, she enjoys traveling, golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
