Plus, we\u2019ve been busy adding new updates such as a custom newsfeed, charts to view your display balances over time, and an enhanced investment view so you have even more information at your fingertips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhanced investment tab to get a bird\u2019s eye view of your portfolio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you click on the Investment view in Simplifi\u2019s web app, you\u2019ll see tabs at the top that let you toggle back and forth between your overall portfolio and your balances over time. A drop-down box lets you choose which accounts you want to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose just your retirement accounts, just your brokerage accounts, everything at once, or any combination of individual accounts that you prefer, even across different account types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The view highlights the current market value of the accounts you\u2019ve selected and today\u2019s change in that value, giving you a heads-up display of your most crucial information. You\u2019ll also notice a timestamp beneath your market valuation, showing you when your stock quotes were most recently updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below that, you\u2019ll find a list of holdings for the accounts you\u2019ve selected as well as a column on the right with relevant news about stocks you hold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Want to see more about a specific holding? Just click on it in your list! That brings up a new view showing you how much of that stock you own across the accounts you\u2019ve selected, the current market value of those holdings, and today\u2019s change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A more detailed card below also includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Today\u2019s price<\/li>
  • When that price was last updated<\/li>
  • Today\u2019s price change (in both actual price and percent)<\/li>
  • The open price<\/li>
  • Today\u2019s price range<\/li>
  • A 52-week range<\/li>
  • The market cap<\/li>
  • Volume<\/li>
  • Dividend yield<\/li>
  • P\/E ratio<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s a lot of information, but the clean, open design provides a pleasant layout that makes it easy to take it all in, showing you exactly what you want to know at a glance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Custom news feed for your latest holdings updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Currently available only on the web app, your investment news feed now displays recent stories that relate directly to your specific holdings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each story is tagged with a stock symbol (sometimes several) to show you which of your holdings that item relates to. Other tags, like \u201cFutures,\u201d for example, give you even more info at a glance, helping you choose the stories that mean the most to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Stories are also tagged with timestamps, letting you know how long ago each story was released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you want news for a specific holding, just click on that holding in your list. Now, the items in your newsfeed will relate only to that holding. It\u2019s just one more step in Simplifi\u2019s ongoing mission to keep your financial feed relevant, clearing out the clutter of irrelevant info and giving you only what you want, when you want it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Balances over time to track your progress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Also in the Simplifi web app, you can now see your account balances over time in a visual graph, making it easy to get a quick view of your accounts\u2019 overall performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Select the Balances tab, then choose the accounts and the timeframe you want to view. The chart will update live with your choices, showing you how your balances have changed over the time frame you chose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Want to know even more about your investment performance? We\u2019re adding a new performance tab next to that balance tab soon, to show you graphs for internal rate of return and time-weighted return across your accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It\u2019s an easy way to see not just how each account is doing, but how they\u2019re doing in relation to each other.
