Error When Running Quicken Online Backup Scheduler: LA 2222

When running the Quicken Online Backup scheduler, the following error message appears:

Error LA 2222

This issue can occur for several reasons:

  1. If the Online Backup scheduler times out during the backup process.
  2. If the Online Backup scheduler time window is set for to short of a time period.
  3. If another program conflicts with the Online Backup process.

To resolve this issue, set the Online Backup scheduler for a two hour time interval.

Note: Disable the Microsoft Windows Power Management settings for Sleep or Hibernation mode. To view this setting, click the Microsoft Windows Start button, and select Control Panel. Double-click Power Options and then select the Hibernate tab and Power Schemes tab to disable the sleep and hibernate features.

To change the scheduled Online Backup:

  1. Click the Microsoft Windows Start button and select Programs > Online Backup > Online Backup.
  2. Click the Schedule button and select the Schedule Backup option.
  3. Select the Day and Time that are optimal for your backup needs. Also set enough time (2 hours) to allow the backup process to complete uninterrupted.
  4. Click Save.
