How to customize Accounts, Alerts, and Budgets in the Quicken Mobile app

After you've set up your Quicken desktop software for Mobile Sync, you can update your settings from the Quicken Desktop program.  Some Mobile Sync settings you can change are which accounts are synced to your mobile device, what alerts you want to receive, and which budget you want to track.

To update Mobile Email Alerts:

Quicken for Windows

  1. Open Quicken and click the Mobile & Alerts tab
  2. Click edit alert setting to the right of Email Alerts
  3. Use the dropdowns and the checkboxes to update the alerts you want to receive, and when the alerts are triggered; you can also choose to send these alerts to a second email address
  4. Click OK to save your changes

Note: Alerts will only occur for accounts that you've synced to your mobile device.

Quicken for Mac

  1. Go to Quicken > Preferences > Mobile & Alerts tab
  2. Click Alerts
  3. Use the dropdowns and the checkboxes to update the alerts you want to receive, and when the alerts are triggered; the alerts are sent to the email address associated with your Intuit ID, shown at the bottom of the Alerts window

Note: Alerts will only occur for accounts that you've synced to your mobile device.

 

To select or change the accounts you sync to mobile:

Quicken for Windows

  1. Open Quicken and click the Mobile & Alerts tab
  2. Click edit account setting to the right of Accounts Enable for Mobile and Alerts
  3. Use the checkboxes to add or remove accounts for Mobile Sync - you'll be able to sync your checking, savings, cash, investing and credit card accounts.
  4. Click Update Accounts to confirm the changes

Quicken for Mac

  1. Go to Quicken > Preferences > Mobile & Alerts tab
  2. Click Accounts
  3. Use the checkboxes to add or remove accounts for Mobile Sync - you'll be able to sync checking, savings, cash, and credit card accounts (investing and loan accounts can't be synced)

Note: Quicken Connect accounts are always checked, as these accounts use Quicken Sync services to download transactions.

 

To sync your budget to Quicken Mobile:

Quicken for Windows

  1. Open Quicken and click the Mobile & Alerts tab
  2. Under Budget to Show on Phone or Tablet, click change
  3. Select a budget from the dropdown menu, or choose not to sync any budget
  4. Click OK to confirm the change

Quicken for Mac

  1. Go to Quicken > Preferences > Mobile & Alerts tab
  2. Click the Mobile tab
  3. Use the dropdown to select which budget to sync
