How do I copy or move text
You use the Windows standard menu commands Cut, Copy, and Paste to remove, duplicate, and move selected text such as letters, numbers, or symbols.
- To remove text and put it on the Microsoft® Windows Clipboard, select the text and choose Edit menu > Cut.
- To place a copy of text on the Clipboard, select the text and choose Edit menu > Copy.
To insert a copy of the Clipboard contents, click where you want to place it and choose Edit menu > Paste.
If these commands are not available, it is because nothing is currently selected.
