How do I view an image attached to a transaction


An attachment icon indicates that a transaction contains attachments.

Use Quicken's Attachments Viewers to view attachments, open the attachment in its associated Windows application (such as Windows Photo Viewer, Adobe Photoshop, or GIMP), save attachments to your hard drive so they can be accessed outside of Quicken, upload an attachment to the cloud, or delete attachments that you no longer need.

  1. Open the account that contains the attachment you want to view.
  2. In the account register or transaction list, select the transaction associated with the attachment you want to view.
  3. Click the attachment icon below the transaction's date field, or click the gear icon in the transaction toolbar and then choose Attachments. The Attachments Viewer appears and you can now view the attachments.
  4. Optional: To open an attachment in its associated Windows application (such as Windows Photo Viewer, Adobe Photoshop, or GIMP) rather than in the Attachments Viewer, double-click the image or click the gear icon (Attachment Stored in Data File icon) or the cloud icon (Attachment Stored in cloud icon) at the bottom right of the attachment thumbnail, and then select View/Open.
