I am getting an error when I download transactions from my bank


If you are getting an error while downloading transactions from your bank, search our support site, using the specific error as your search term.  

Quicken uses default connection methods based on the account type and financial institutions branding preferences. These settings can be altered after the account has been created, by changing Account Settings.

The available connection methods for each account type, with the default connection method listed first, are:

Banking accounts (checking & savings):

  • Quicken Connect
  • Web Connect
  • Direct Connect

Credit Card:

  • Quicken Connect
  • Direct Connect
  • Web Connect

Investment account setup:

  • Direct Connect
  • Web Connect

Asset & Cash:

  • No online setup
