Message: "Drive is not accessible" when trying to back up to a CD
One of the following messages occurs:
- "Drive is not accessible"
- "Device is not ready"
- "Unable to access the disk in drive [drive letter]"
- "Can't open file"
These messages appear when the CD has not been properly formatted. If you are unable to resolve the formatting issues, your best bet is to use a workaround that bypasses the CD formatting requirements.
