Message When Using Online Services: CC-579


You may receive the following message when using online services in Quicken:

Instructions

This error occurs if you attempt to update your accounts in Quicken while you are logged in to the financial institution's web site.  Your financial institution reports that you are currently logged into their web site. For security reasons, they do not allow multiple logins and request that you log out of their web site before updating your accounts in Quicken.

To resolve this issue

  1. Go to your financial institution's web site and log off.
  2. From your account register:
    • In Quicken 2013 and newer: Select the Actions gear icon at the very top of your register (Ctrl + Shift + N).
    • In Quicken 2012 and older: click on Account Actions
  3. Then select Update Now.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
  5. Repeat these steps for each financial institution experiencing this error.

If you are not currently logged into your financial institution's web site

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. From your account register:
    • In Quicken 2013 and newer: Select the Actions gear icon at the very top of your register (Ctrl + Shift + N).
    • In Quicken 2012 and older: click on Account Actions
  3. Then select Update Now.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
  5. Repeat these steps for each financial institution experiencing this error. You only need to restart your computer once.

Note: Your financial institution cannot resolve this issue. If you need assistance, contact Quicken Support.
