One Step Update Summary Appears When There Are No Errors

When the Show Only When Error Occurs option is selected, having no data to update on Quicken.com can be considered an error. Therefore, if you do not have data on Quicken.com to update, the summary appears, even though there is no bank error. Once selected, the option remains active until you clear it. 

To clear the option:

  1. On the Quicken toolbar, click the Update drop-down arrow and select Update Summary.
  2. At the bottom of the One Step Update Summary, clear the Show this dialog only if there is an error checkbox.
  3. Click Close.

To prevent the option from reappearing, you must first restore a backup made prior to the One Step Update. Then, before performing the first One Step Update with your newly restored file, if you do not have information on Quicken.com to update, be sure Quicken.com is not selected.
