Overdue Bills Appears in Quicken That Were Previously Paid Off in Microsoft Money



Issue Description

After using the Microsoft Money converter in Quicken 2010 I see overdue bills in Quicken that I had paid earlier while using Microsoft Money.

Solution

There are 3 options available to resolve this issue.

Option 1:   Update Release R3 for Quicken 2010
  1. Update to the latest release of Quicken 2010
  2. Reconvert your MS Money file again using the latest release

Overdue Bills Appears in Quicken That Were Previously Paid Off in Microsoft MoneyNote:  If you have already been using Quicken for some time, or only have 1 or 2 bills affected by this issue, you may want to consider using Options 2 or 3 below.
 
Option 2:  Change the number of instances of the bill to 0
  1. Click Tools menu>Manage Bills and Income Reminders.
  2. Select the Overdue bill and click Edit>This and all future instances of this bill.
  3. Select “End On” radio button.
  4. Enter the date you finished paying the bill. 
  5. Click OK.
  6. Repeat for remaining bills
Option 3:  Delete the bill reminder
  1. Click Tools menu>Manage Bills and Income Reminders.
  2. Select the Overdue bill.
  3. Click the delete button.
  4. When prompted to confirm, click “Ok”. 
  5. Repeat for remaining bils.
