Paycheck Reminders not Displaying Split Deposit Amounts on Calendar


A paycheck reminder set to deposit to two bank accounts will only display the amount scheduled to be deposited to the primary account when viewing the calendar or upcoming reminders list.


Once the reminder is entered, the amount for the secondary account will appear on the calendar or reminders list filtered for that account. The posted transaction will appear as follows in the registers:

  • Paycheck deposit transaction posted to the primary account with split lines.
  • Income Category = the amount designated on the reminder for the primary account.
  • Transfer Category = the amount designated on the reminder for the secondary account.
  • Transfer IN (Deposit/Increase) posted to the secondary account with the primary account as the Transfer Category.

Quicken 2011 will not display transfers between banking accounts on the calendar or reminders list.
