Pop-up Registers Option is Unavailable


The option to select pop-up registers is unavailable. This is caused by having the startup screen option set to one of the account registers.

To resolve this issue

  1. In the same Preferences window, go to the Startup option in the upper left.
  2. On the right, under Startup location, select an option in the dropdown other than an account register.
  3. Go back to the Register section on the left and the Use pop-up registers option will now be available.

Please note, if the Use pop-up registers option is selected, you will not be able to use an account register as the startup page.
