Quicken and Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility

Please make sure you have the latest release of Quicken.

To resolve the issue of Quicken not responding:

  1. Close Quicken.
  2. On the Windows Desktop, right-click the Quicken icon and select Run as.
  3. In the Run As window:
  • Select The following user.
  • Click the User name drop-down arrow and select the Administrator.
  • In the Password box, enter the Administrator password, and then click OK.

If you receive a warning about unauthorized access, click Allow.
