Quicken Online Backup Error: LA2006: Wrong Password

You may receive the following message when attempting to make an Online Backup:

LA2006: WrongPassword

To resolve this issue

  1. Navigate to the location where Quicken Online Backup is installed. The default location is C:\Program Files\Online Backup.
  2. Run OnlineBackupSettings.exe.
  3. You will be prompted to re-enter your Online Backup credentials (ID, password).
  4. Attempt to use Quicken Online Backup.
