Quicken Online Backup Error: LA4104
You could receive the following error when attempting to use the Quicken Online Backup Service:
- LA4104: Your installation was not finished. A connection will be made to the Data Center to complete your installation.
- LA4104: Invalid data format 4
To resolve this error, you will need to install the new Online backup application below.
- Right-click on the OnlineBackup icon from the Task Bar, and choose About...
- In the window that appears, copy down your Account ID (You will need this to reinstall the software).
- Download the new Online Backup software here
- Uninstall the currently installed application using Add/Remove Programs.
- Reboot your computer
- Double-Click the Onlinebackup.exe file you downloaded in step 3 to begin the installation
- When prompted enter your account ID and password.
- You can now use the online backup service in Quicken.
