Quicken Says No Attachments Are Available in Quicken Deluxe, Premier, or Home & Business

This message displays when your Quicken data file had attachments at some time in the past, but now cannot locate them. Here are some possible causes:

  • You may have backed up your Quicken data to media without sufficient disk space to store the attachments, so they were not included in the backup. If you then restored this backup file to a different computer, the data file would still point to attachments, but the actual attachments would not be present.
  • You may have chosen to undo the delete for a transaction you manually deleted. Undo delete restores only the transaction-not any attachments the transaction contained.
  • You may have manually deleted the folder in which the attachments are stored.
