Backup History Missing After Reinstalling Quicken Online Backup

Overview

If you reinstalled the Online Backup program and your backup history is missing, you'll need to refresh your computer with the data center. This process will verify your account information and download your backup history.

Step 1: Refresh your computer

To refresh your computer with the data center:

  1. In the File Download window, select Open.
  2. The refresh utility will complete its installation.  When it completes, your Quicke backups are again available to restore.

Step 2 (optional): If you see a login error

If you receive an "Incorrect passphrase" error or an "Invalid account" message after completing step 1, your Online Backup login credentials will need to be updated on your computer:

  1. Download the Online Backup Password Update Utility.
  2. In the File Download window, select Open or Run.
  3. Follow the directions in the utility. Once you click OK, your computer will be updated and the program closes automatically.

You should now have full access to your Quicken Online Backup files.
