Unable to Enter Entire Online Banking or Bill Payment PIN in Quicken

If you are unable to enter your entire PIN, verify that you are entering the PIN for online banking through Quicken and not the PIN for online banking at your financial institution's website. Financial institution website PINs are usually longer.

If you've already signed up for online account access and are attempting to use the temporary PIN supplied by the financial institution, you may need to update your financial institution from within Quicken:

  1. From the Quicken Tools menu, choose Online Center.
  2. In the Online Center, press and hold CTRL+F3 while you click Contact Info.
  3. In the FI Action Required window, select your financial institution, click Refresh, and then click OK.
  4. Attempt your online connection again. If the problem persists, and you need to verify or reset your PIN for Quicken, contact your financial institution.
