What if I think there's a mistake in a downloaded transaction?

If you believe a downloaded transaction contains a mistake, contact your financial institution directly. Instructions for contacting your financial institution are usually printed on the back of your paper statement.

Don't call Quicken for Windows Technical Support about a disputed transaction. Only your financial institution can help you with disputed transactions.


If you are a Quicken Home & Business customer and have activated your checking account for transaction download, you may notice that the transaction amount for a downloaded credit card payment is slightly less than the amount of the payment you entered.

To account for the credit card processing charge when you accept a downloaded transaction, edit the register transaction to match the downloaded credit card payment. Additional information is available about processing credit card payments from Visa or MasterCard and American Express .
