What if Quicken is telling me it can't find or access my CD-ROM drive when I back up to a CD?

Did you get one of the following messages?

•"Drive is not accessible"

•"Device is not ready"

•"Unable to access the disk in drive [drive letter]"

These messages appear when the CD hasn't been properly formatted. If you're unable to resolve the formatting issues, your best bet is to use a workaround that bypasses the CD formatting requirements.
