What if the transaction I entered disappeared?


By default, Quicken sorts transactions in the register by date. As soon as you fill in the transaction and click Enter, Quicken places the transaction in sequential date order. If the date that you entered is significantly later than the transactions you're currently seeing, Quicken may place the transaction out of your view. Simply scroll through the register to find the transaction, or click a column heading in the register (for example, Payee) to choose a different sort order.
