Why do I get "File not backed up" when backing up my Quicken data file to floppy disk?

The best solution is to back up your Quicken data file on media that has more storage space, such as a removable (USB) drive or CD.

If backing up to another form of media isn't an option, try renaming the file, and then try to back up the file again.

If renaming the file doesn't resolve the issue, try troubleshooting the file for data damage.

If troubleshooting the data file doesn't resolve the issue, try backing up the data file to new floppy disks, or reformat the existing floppy disks. For more information about reformatting a floppy disk, refer to the manufacturer's instructions for your operating system.
