What new features and improvements have been added to Quicken 2015 for Mac?

We recently released version 2.1 of Quicken 2015 for Mac, our first release with new features, not just bug fixes. See below for a quick summary of these enhancements. Click here for a complete list of the new improvements.

  • Cash Flow chart - The top new feature that customers selected from our voting page was “Enhanced Reports (Cash Flow, Net Worth Over Time, Quick Reports, etc.)” Our first step to meet this key need was to add a new Cash Flow chart where you can get a convenient forecast of your projected balances to make better money decisions. Just click on “Bill Reminders” in the sidebar. See how your upcoming bills, income and future dated transactions affect your overall balance to help avoid overspending or late fees. We’re also continuing to work on other reports to meet customer needs.
  • Security Price History Edit and CSV Import - The ability to edit the security price history list is the top requested Investment feature. This improvement is important for anyone who has mutual funds or securities that can't be downloaded from Quicken because they aren’t tracked by the quote services we use. Now you can manually create or edit your own price history. You can also easily import this information via a CSV file.
  • Customizable Register Rows – To make the Quicken 2015 for Mac interface cleaner and easier to use, we had increased the font size and spacing around the rows in the transaction list. While this made it easier for people to read small text, other users may prefer to see more transactions all at once. Now a new setting in the View Menu allows you to choose the height of the rows and get the layout that works best for your needs
