How many computers can I install the Quicken Canada on?

Per the Quicken licensing agreement, you can install Quicken on up to three computers in the same household. However, you should use the user ID you purchased Quicken with to register each product installation.

Can I use the mobile app with the new Quicken Canada product?

I don’t use online banking, do I still need to buy a subscription?

The new Quicken Canada is designed so that you never go through the upgrade process again. In addition to online banking, you’ll automatically receive new Quicken features, versions, and services as part of your Quicken subscription, so you'll always have the newest product. To provide you with these new features, a subscription is required. All future Canadian Quicken products will be subscription products.

Do you offer Quicken in French?

No. Quicken Canada is currently only available in English.

Can I use my Quicken Canada on my PC and my Mac?

Quicken Canada is currently a Windows-only product.

How do I get a CD disk?

Quicken Canada is only available as a download from Quicken.com.

How many people can use Quicken Canada?

Quicken Canada is designed to work with one user ID. The user ID of the person that purchased Quicken can be used to create multiple Quicken files.

Billing and Account Management

How do I get a refund?

Quicken Canada offers a 30-day money back guarantee. You can request a refund by following the steps in the FAQ here. If you purchased Quicken more than 30 days ago, you're no longer eligible for a refund.

When does my Quicken subscription end?

Your subscription ends one year from your purchase date. You can view your purchase and expiration dates in your Quicken.com account.

What if I don’t want to be automatically charged?

You can opt out of automatic renewal of your Quicken subscription at any time by contacting Quicken Support.

I’m not able to log in to my account.

If you need help with logging in to your Quicken account, just go to Quicken.com and click Sign In > My Account on the top left of the page. Then, click on “Forgot your login or password” for help signing in to your account.

How do I access my product download to install or reinstall Quicken?

Just go to Quicken.com/Canada and click Sign In > My Account on the top left of the page. After you sign in, you’ll see a list of your purchases, available for download.

When does my Quicken subscription activate--date of purchase or registration?

Your subscription is activated on your date of purchase. You can confirm your purchase date by logging into your account on Quicken.com.

What happens when my Quicken subscription ends?

When your Quicken subscription ends, you'll still be able to access, view, and export all of your financial data. You will never be blocked from accessing your financial history. However, Quicken will switch to a reduced functionality mode. In this mode, some features may be limited or unavailable. For example:

  • You can open existing data files and see all your existing data.
  • You can view, edit and delete existing transactions—including attachments.
  • You can create, run, print and save reports.
  • You can export your data, make or restore a backup, and make a copy of a file.
  • You cannot access any Connected Services such as bank downloads, stock quotes, online bill pay, bill linking, credit score, or mobile sync.
  • You cannot add new transactions via file import or manual entry.
How do I renew access to Quicken Connected Services?

You can renew connected services at any time by contacting Quicken Support.

How do I cancel Quicken Connected Services?

You can cancel connected services at any time by contacting Quicken Support.

My access to Quicken Connected Services is suspended, now what do I do?

Please contact Quicken Support for help with your access to connected services.

How do I see or change my account settings?

You can review your account settings, including service status and purchase date, on your Quicken.com account.

How do I upgrade from Quicken Canada Cash Manager to Quicken Canada Home & Business?

You can upgrade to Home & Business from within your Cash Manager product. Just go to Help > Unlock Online Services to “unlock” the new features. You will be charged the price difference between the Cash Manager and Home & Business price, and your Home & Business annual subscription starts on the day of your upgrade. You can use the same data file in Quicken Canada Home and Business after upgrading, or start a new file.

I no longer need all the features of Quicken Canada Home & Business. How do I change to Quicken Canada Cash Manager?

You’ll have to uninstall the Quicken Canada Home & Business product (and get a refund, if applicable), and then purchase and install Quicken Canada Cash Manager. You can open a new file, or use the same data file in Quicken Canada Cash Manager, though access to some business features will be unavailable.
