Customized Net Worth and Account Balance Report Displays Earlier Date than Selected

21 people found this helpful

When customizing your Net Worth and Account Balance report, Quicken shows prior date.

In Quicken we have three types of report family:

  • Register
  • Income And Expense
  • Summary

Net Worth and Account Balance Reports are based on Summary which is the reason these reports pick the prior date as their opening balance. Summary reports, such as Net Worth, that are customized to display only certain dates, will always display one day prior to the customized From date as a "balance forward." This is to keep report balances in line with actual account balances.
