How do I correct a mistake in the security's transaction history?

Quicken's Security Detail View displays a record of all transactions for a securities you own, across all Quicken accounts. Should you notice a mistake in the security's transaction history, it can be easily corrected from this location.

1. Click the Investing tab.

2. Click the Tools button, and choose Security List.

3. Click the name of the security that has the erroneous transaction.

4. In the Transaction History list, double-click the transaction you want to fix.

5. Edit the transaction information in the dialog that appears.

6. Click Enter/Done.


From this location it is possible to choose any security on your Security List, but the transaction history and market value graph is only available for securities that you actually own (not for securities only on your watch list, and not for market indexes).
