How To Verify a Successful Backup

  1. Double-click the Online Backup icon located in the Windows System Tray to open the main Online Backup program.
  2. Click Restore.
  3. View the first entry and verify that you see the folders and data files you selected to backup.

Intuit recommends that you periodically (and always after you have changed your backup set) verify that you see all the files you need in the Restore screen. This process does not restore any data to your computer unless you start the restore.
