What if my scheduled updates failed to run at the time I specified?

Scheduled updates are set to run within 15 minutes before or after the time that you selected. For example, if you choose 10:00 A.M., the update may run anytime between 9:45 A.M. and 10:15 A.M.

The Quicken.ini file will inform you when the update will run. In the Quicken.ini file, there is a Scheduled Update section that contains a Random line. That line contains either a negative or positive number that represents the number of minutes before or after the time you selected for the update. Using the example mentioned above, if Random = -3, the update will run at 9:57 A.M. and if Random = 11, the update will run at 10:11 A.M.
