Not Able to Print in Quicken Using Windows 7

Important: Versions of Quicken prior to 2010 are not supported on Microsoft Windows 7, however the following emulation driver for your HP printer may work for you.

If you are using Quicken 2010 on Windows 7, and are unable to print using your HP printer, you will need to use an emulation driver as follows:

  • For PCL based printers they should emulate with the HP PS C4600.
  • For LIDIL based printers, they should emulate with the Vista 64 bit driver for HP DJ D4300 via add printer in Windows 7.

Note: Click here for a list of LIDIL printers. If your printer is not on the list, it is a PCL printer.

HP instructions for installing an emulation driver on Windows 7 can be found here (This is not a site supported by Quicken, but a site supported by Hewlett-Packard. If the content is no longer accessible, please contact Hewlett-Packard for further instruction.)

Note: Please ensure you are running the latest release for your product. Click here to determine if you have the latest release for your product already installed.
