Overview

When adding the password to one of your banks into the Password Vault you may see the error below. This may occur even when entering the correct password. 

Password Vault: [your bank] could not use the password you entered.

To resolve this issue

You will need to save the password to the Vault via the One Step Update. To do this:

  1. Go to Tools > One Step Update.

Password Vault: [your bank] could not use the password you entered.

  1. Type the password in the password field and click the Save checkbox.
  2. Click Update Now to complete the One Step Update.
