Message "Your account needs attention" when creating a Quicken ID

When attempting to migrate to the new Quicken ID, you may receive the following error message:

"Your account needs attention. Please click here to contact us to continue using this user or create a new user below."


To resolve this issue:

  1. Close Quicken.
  2. Go to and sign in.
  3. Using the Edit buttons on the right, add your email address and your mobile phone number.
  4. Go to and sign in with your Intuit ID.
  5. Reopen Quicken.
  6. Attempt to create your Quicken ID again.

You should now be able to receive the verification code necessary to complete the migration.
