Want to make sure you have the latest patch update for your Quicken software? You've come to the right place!
Before you begin
While we provide the patch update below, they can also be found in Quicken by going to Help > Check for Updates.
You can check your release version by opening Quicken and going to Help > About Quicken.
If you reinstall Quicken, make sure you've installed the latest patch release before opening your data file; otherwise, you may be unable to use online services.
Important: If you missed any releases, don't worry. You only need to download the most recent release to update Quicken.

Click on the link above for the update you prefer (these steps apply to both).
In the bottom left corner of your browser, click Open file when the download is complete.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
When finished, you can verify the release version of Quicken by selecting the Help menu in the software and choosing About Quicken.

Taxes
IMPROVED - Tax Export now creates a single TXF file that combines Capital Gains with other tax information, and you can specify the tax year for the export. Quicken can also create a tax export file in the modernized TXJ format. You can still create separate export files using Tax Tools in the Planning/Tax Center tab.
IMPROVED - Updated tax rates for 2025. The new tax rates are effective January 1, 2025.
Reports & Display
IMPROVED - Access to the "Collapse all graphs in reports by default" setting has been added to the Display dialog in reports.
IMPROVED - The Account Bar now displays totals for individual sections within main account groups.
FIXED - The Investment Asset Allocation report no longer includes sold or expired securities.
Preferences
IMPROVED - You can now search for specific settings in the Preferences dialog.

The _RlzdGain category in the Planning tab now consistently shows net gain/loss, aligning with the budget and income/expense reports.
Addressed an issue preventing login to Quicken for Windows on non-English language operating systems.
Resolved an issue causing Quicken to crash when opening data files due to .NET framework installation errors.
