Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented leader to run a central Web Operations and Site Health Hub for our Marketing organization. The team will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, optimization, and continuous improvement of our web experience at scale.
This role will own the operational backbone of our marketing and eCommerce web site that enables high-quality content delivery, strong site health, reliable data on user behavior, personalized customer experiences, optimal user discoverability, and conversion through data-driven experimentation.
The Head of Web Operations & Site Health will establish operating models, tooling, governance, and performance standards across content execution, analytics implementation, experimentation, SEO, and site reliability—while partnering closely with Product Marketing, Design, Engineering, and Data teams.
Key Responsibilities:
High Quality Content Delivery

Own CMS operations in Contentful, including high-velocity content publishing workflows, campaign launches, landing page deployment, and governance

Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality web releases through strong QA, validation, and release management practices

Establish rigorous quality assurance standards for content accuracy, link integrity, and visual consistency across all web properties
Enabling Advanced Web Analytics & Behavioral Intelligence

Oversee web analytics tagging and implementation (GTM/GA4/BigQuery), focusing on robust server-side instrumentation and data privacy compliance

Manage the integration of experience analytics (e.g., Glassbox) with Google Analytics and ActionIQ CDP to understand user behavior and quantify the impact

Partner with Analytics & Data teams to develop sophisticated behavioral model that translates data from interaction signals into actionable site optimizations

Enable session replay, behavioral analysis, and friction detection to inform optimization and personalization strategies
Testing & Experimentation

Manage the full experimentation lifecycle of A/B and multivariate testing using AB Tasty, including test setup, QA, deployment, and measurement

Establish experimentation standards, guardrails, and operational best practices to enable high-velocity testing while maintaining reliability

Partner with Analytics, Design, and Engineering teams for accurate analysis of test results leading to optimized decisions and actions
Personalization & User Journey Optimization

Enable deployment of web behavioral segments and personalized discovery journeys sourced from from ActionIQ CDP

Design and deploy automated discovery journeys that adapt based on real-time user signals and intent
Site Health, Performance & Technical SEO

Drive Technical SEO initiatives and monitor Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) to ensure the site meets peak performance and crawlability standards

Expand optimization to support LLM discoverability as applicable

Implement continuous monitoring using tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb to identify and resolve crawl errors, redirect loops, and broken internal linking structures

Partner with Engineering to remediate issues, improve load performance, and strengthen platform stability
Web Operations

Lead a centralized Web Operations function responsible for day-to-day execution, optimization, and reliability of the web experience

Partner with Engineering to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality web releases through strong QA, validation, and release management practices

Lead governance of catalog data quality, site taxonomy, and attribute standards to ensure a unified and scalable data structure
Team Leadership

Lead a high-performing and highly engaged team in support of above

Define clear roles, career paths, and skill development plans for the team

Establish strong cross-functional partnerships with Product Marketing, Design, Engineering, Data, and Lifecycle Marketing

Create documentation, playbooks, and operational standards to scale the function sustainably
Required Qualifications:
-
10+ years of experience in web operations and marketing technology
-
5+ years of experience in leading technical teams in a digital marketing environment

Deep understanding of modern web architectures with strong technical knowledge of:

CMS platforms (Headless tools like Contentful strongly preferred)

Web Analytics Tag Management (GTM including server-side, Google Analytics, BigQuery)

Experimentation Platforms (AB Tasty or similar like VWO, Optimizely)
-
Customer Data Platform tools (ActionIQ or similar like Tealium)
-
SEO and site health tooling (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Core Web Vitals)

Behavioral tools like Glassbox

Experience supporting personalization and segmentation at scale

Having a background in data quality, taxonomy, or digital catalog governance

Proficiency in web crawler tools and solid understanding of web vitals

Understanding of site optimization for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) a plus

Ability to bridge the gap between high-level marketing goals and the technical execution required to achieve them

Experience in managing high-traffic, consumer-facing web environments

Strong experience partnering with Engineering teams on web performance and reliability

Demonstrated ability to design scalable operating models and governance frameworks
