Overview

This error occurs when the bank's website is unavailable to download transactions to Quicken. This is typically caused by the bank preventing Quicken from accessing their website due to high traffic. 

Note: You may be able to log in to the bank's website successfully and still receive this error in Quicken. This is because the error is caused by an issue on the bank's servers, preventing Quicken from downloading transactions. 

To resolve this issue 

We recommend to first check the Quicken Community for alerts on widespread issues or bank outages. 

If there are no alerts in the Community, wait 24 to 48 hours and then try to update the account again.

If the issue persists 

If the problem continues for more than a few days, contact Quicken Support for assistance.
