Details
As a security precaution to help prevent unauthorized access to your account information, if an incorrect password or PIN is entered multiple times, the account is locked and cannot be accessed until it is unlocked.
The exact number of login attempts with an incorrect password or PIN varies depending on your bank. In most cases, three incorrect entries will result in the account being locked. If you are being prompted for a PIN and don't know what the PIN is, you should contact your bank for more information.
To resolve this issue
Try going to your bank's website and signing in. You may be prompted to unlock your account.
After signing in at the bank's website, try updating your accounts again in Quicken.
If the issue persists
If you are still receiving this error, you will need to contact your bank to have the password or PIN reset and unlock your account. Quicken Support is not able to reset the password or PIN for online banking.

Some financial institutions provide customers with different login credentials to use with Direct Connect. We recommend contacting your financial institution and verify the login credentials you should be using with your Direct Connect account in Quicken.
