Quicken for Windows: Why do my investment accounts look different after a Quicken patch update?

Overview

After installing a Quicken update, investment accounts are displayed differently. 

To resolve this issue 

On occasion, installing an update will cause a change in the tracking method for investment accounts from Complete to Simple Investing. To change the tracking method back to Complete:

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner.

  1. Select Edit account details.

  1. In the Account Details screen, change the Tracking Method to Complete - Positions and Transactions.

  1. Click OK

You will need to follow these steps to change the tracking method on each affected account individually.
